UL South Wing 3 - Single Study Room 1 In-Person
This room is located at the back of the Group Study Room on South Wing 3 and is ideal for anyone working on their own who requires privacy or a study space that allows them to make some noise (through listening to lecture videos, making an online video call, or anything similar).
You can book this room for a session lasting 2 hours* You can make multiple bookings on the same day.
Please note that to access the Single Study Room you will need to go through the shared space in the Group Study Room - this is most easily accessed from the door in the lift lobby, rather than to use the door that joins from inside the Commonwealth Reading Room. You may feel like you are disturbing others working in the space by opening doors and entering the room, and we have asked our Group Study Room users to expect you and to be mindful, courteous, and respectful of your need to get to the Single Study Room.
Please remember to tidy up and take all belongings with you at the end of your booking, to allow the next person to use the room after.
We have actively risk assessed all spaces and space usage in accordance with University guidance on Covid-19 and have further safety measures in place including high quality mechanical ventilation in most areas of the building and a CO2 monitoring program.
(*the final booking slot is 1 hour 45 minutes on weekdays and 1 hour 30 minutes on Saturdays, as bookings must fit within the opening hours of the South Wing 3 Study Hub)
